Shenel Hughes
Intellistudent of the Week, 5-30-07

Hi! My name is Shenel Hughes. I live in Corona, CA and I love to learn! I love to discover and learn new things everyday. I attend John F. Kennedy Middle College High School where I take actual college classes for high school AND college credit.I am 16 years old, in the 11th grade. I'll tell you, this year has been the toughest, but Im getting through it, one day at a time. I am an outgoing person, I dont like to stay in the house like a couch potato. If I do, then I won't be able to accomplsh anything.

Respect goes a long way; you have to give respect to recieve it, and trust me, you WILL receive it! Always remember how smart you are!

I am a church-going type of person. I am a Christian, and proud of it! I'm hoping in the future that i will graduate from high school with honors. Then, I will attend Hampton University in the fall of 2008. After graduating from Hampton, I will pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. Yes, I know, I have big dreams. I know I can accomplish them buy keeping my eyes on the prize! NOT being a couch potato. You should always believe in yourself, and keep going!

Shenel wants to be a lawyer. Oh, Shenel...you poor thing, you. Did you know that Scuzzy used to be a lawyer? True story. Let me tell you a little secret (shhh...it's not all that hard to become one! It's one of the great misconceptions of our time! SHHH!!!!!!!!...don't let anyone else know...they'll think you are a super genius).
