Intellistudent of the Week, 2-21-07

Okay, here is the deal. I am not like all the other Intellistudents of the Week. I AM GERMAN! Scary thought, I know. But that is just how I was born! Anyway...

I am 18 years old (that is when it hits you: you are getting old) and my name is Saskia God (yes, that is my name!). I still have another 1 ½ more years in high school. I will be almost 20 when I graduate... That is not because I am dumb but because we go 13 years to school here in Germany. Major bummer.

I was an exchange student last school-year in Indiana. And it was simply amazing. Amazing host family, amazing friends, amazing school, amazing church, amazing food. Yes... amazing. Now it is my biggest dream to go back to Indiana for college after graduating from high school. But that is freaking expensive! So hey, if you have a few dollars left, let me know. I will glady take any contribution. Seriously, I work hard for my dream. I practically give 900 private lessons each week, and I also write for a local newspaper.

Besides this, I love playing volleyball, watching “Friends“ and having fun with my family and friends.

First of all, I'm calling "jackyl" on that 13 years of school crap. You gotta put your foot down after 12. And as far as Indiana being "amazing"...hmmm...well, wait until you see Vegas, Saskia!!
