Intellistudent of the Week, 4-7-08

I am a junior at James A. Cawood High School. I have a 4.0. My favorite subjects are Pre-cal, English, and Psychology. I am up to get valedictorian next year. I am involved in the Beta club, french club, First priority, FBLA, and the talent search program. The classes I take are college prep and are harder than the regular ones at my school. I am my own worst critic. To me making a "B" might as well be failing. I love to read, my favorite author is Jodi Picoult. I am not sure where I am going to go to college yet, but I know I want to major in nursing. I study alot so im know I am prepared for my test at school. I hate the ACT, it makes me a nervous wreck. I have a good imagination, and if I had time i would love to write short stories. I run track, and I did play basketball for 3 years, but it came to be more of a job you don't get paid for! I have asthma, and my dad is a stroke victim. My classes this year are: AP French, US History, Honors English 3, Chemistry, Arts and Humanities, Psychology, and Pre-cal. Next year I will have to go to a new high school because of consolidation. That's about all there is of me! sam
