Intellistudent of the Week, 4-14-08

I'm 27 years-old, I attend Georgia Military College, in Columbus, GA. I'm a single mother of two beautiful boys (2yrs and 4mos). They are my daily motivation. I decided to return to school to better my career. I was tired of the dead end jobs and I needed the support of a two year college with basically one on one professors to get me back to where I was 8 years ago. I 'm slowly expanding my heart and mind to accept that I deserve a better lifestyle for my kids and I. College has been very challenging but yet rewarding because every quarter I look at where I was and where I am at now. And others are so proud of me and as well as I am so proud of myself.

Single mom of two AND a college student? Fuggedaboutit! Jennifer deserves more than Intellistudent of the Week, she deserves a medal. Unfortunately, I'm fresh out of medals. So I guess this is the next best thing.
