Jasmine Rose
Intellistudent of the Week, 6-9-08

Just like the license on my jeep, I am a country girl from the heart of the midwest--Wisconsin. For the past few years I've been following my horse career into a few different states. I've trained horses in the Teton Mtn. Ranges of Wyoming, the Sawtooth Mtn. Ranges of Idaho, in Colorado, and finally here in Nebraska. Be careful though; because I'm a cowgirl I like to make a few sharp and witty comments and I am a bit of a "commitment phobe" when it comes to relationships. My dog and I love to go camping, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. You'd never find me in a gym on a treadmill because I am not going to pay for a membership when running outside is free and fun!

I finally made the decision to be serious about my college career and I am finishing up my last two years of nursing school. I currently work as a Nursing Assistant in two long term care facilities. On my days off you'll find me breaking a horse for a rancher and probably breaking a cowboy's heart too!

Thank you for this award! It's wonderful to receive such an amazing blessing like this.

Jasmine is gonna be a nurse that can fix a broken leg, train a horse and gnaw on a plug of tobacco, all at the same time. Take that, Mr. "I take 10 hours of classes and work at Piggly Wiggly 12 hours a week!"
How about the rest of you people? Have you got the stuff it takes to join the Jasmine the multi-talented country girl here? Maybe, but you'll never know unless you apply to be our next Intellistudent Of The Week.
