Jasmine Jackson
Intellistudent of the Week, 7-11-07

My name is Jasmine Jackson and I am from nowhere. What i mean to say is, that my dad is in the military and we travel all over the world. Right now I live in Europe! Amazing country by the way. I am 17 years old and I will be applying to Georgia State University, Virginia State University and Bowie State University. I am hoping to get accepted into my first choice, Georgia State and major in pediatric nursing and if I am able to minor in sociology.

"Congrats girl! If you're good with the fast life Georgia State is the place for you because Atl is so busy down town. But it's lovely and I love it! Im 15 mins away, in Jonesboro, Ga, from all the glorious chaos. I absolutely love it here and hope you will too. I hope that you will be more than satisfied with your decision. I wish you the best and God bless!"

"If you haven't been to visit VSU...do so before you get there. As for staying in the south, you probably know that the weather is extreme. I also am a military dependent so make sure you choose a school that feels like home...for me that home was Penn State!"

"I think that being able to see the world at a young age is amazing but i also think that im some cases it is rather difficult to have to move so frequently. i am proud of your aspirations for life. I too am planning to become a nurse. i think that it is a wonderful way to share with people ur life and show them a bit of happiness. i hope that wherever the road my take you that you know that people will be there supporting u along the way. reach for the stars and remember that no matter how big or small you are if you want something bad enough you will never stop trying to get there."
