Diana Lamphere
Intellistudent of the Week, 2-14-07
My name is Diana Lamphere and I was born
and raised in Hibbing, Minnesota (the hometown
of Bob Dylan). I’m going to school to be a veterinarian
so that some day I can have my own clinic and
board horses. In my spare time (which usually
is the summer), I enjoy dirt biking, figure skating
(indoors for you non-Minnesotans), running, hanging
out with my girls, spending time with the family,
reading, writing, and doing anything outdoors.
I am a wee bit of a tom-boy and love anything
that goes fast. I ride a KX 100 and plan to move
up to YZ 125 soon.
Figure skating has taught me to give 100% in everything
I do and has helped me get through school.
I am surrounded by wonderful people and would
be lost with out them.
My mother has always helped me out immensely.
She woke up and drove me to skating every morning
before I had my license and sat at that cold ice
rink watching me go through my routine again and
again. Now that is love!
My father, a Vietnam War veteran, is one awesome
dad! He has taught me that you have to treat everyone
with respect and work hard for what you want in
life. He has done so many great things in his
life. I have to say that I am very proud to have
him as my father.
My brother has always been very supportive of
every decision that I make. He taught me at a
young age that being a girl does not have to mean
being little Miss Betty Crocker. He is truly one
of a kind.
Joel, my boyfriend, is one of the greatest guys
out there. From going riding to laying around
watching movies, I love every minute.
Last but certainly not least, Kelly C, who is
my best friend in the world. She is so funny and
full of life that I don’t know what I would do
with out her!!
I want to say thank you to the Intellistudent
crew. Thank you for this opportunity and I absolutely
love your site. Comments:Be one of the first to comment on this student! |
