Intellistudent of the Week, 2-9-09
My name’s Chelsea, and I’m a high school senior. I’ve learned that it’s okay to be the nerd – it definitely earns you some scholarships later on. (Thanks to your site, too!) Plus, I’ve come out of the nerd phase for the most part, as I was the Prom Queen this year. I’m an editor on my school newspaper, a captain of our swim team, and played varsity soccer through high school. I can’t wait to graduate, and I’ll be a lifeguard this summer. Next year, I’m planning on going to CU Boulder, and I’m studying journalism. College will be awesome! I don’t know what else to say about myself. I’m mostly modest, though you couldn’t tell from this little paragraph. I’m just a regular high school girl, and I can’t wait to get my life started as either a journalist or a teacher. Thanks again for the honor!
