ACaitlin Lamade
Intellistudent of the Week, 6-16-08

My name is Caitlin Lamade, but people call me "Llama" for short! I am very involved at my college - currently I am an RA, I am one of the student coordinators of Volunteer Services, I am the Historian of Mortar Board, and I am leading a new group on campus called "WOH" (stands for Women Of Hope). I am a pretty busy person, but I still find time to hang out with my friends and to have a little fun! As you can see by my pic, I am on the Women's Lacrosse team. This is my first year playing, so I am not what you would call an "All-Star", but I have kept active and have participated in a lot of intramural sports since coming to college. I also love to travel. I will actually be spending 7 weeks of my summer in Vienna, Austria, and 2 weeks in Italy. After I get back I will try finding a job, but will probably spend most of my time sunbathing, chilling at coffee shops, reading good books and learning how to Long Board. After college I would like to work with campus life, or be a house mother at an orphanage, or live in Africa and love on the people there, or open a fair trade store! I have so many goals and desires, but I trust that God will open up the perfect opportunities. I love life and try to life mine to the fullest! Thanks for choosing me to be the Intellistudent of the Week!

A house mother for an orphanage?!?! Come on, Caitlin -- no one is THAT caring and giving! Only kidding -- just be sure not to pummel too many orphans with that lacrosse stick!

You got any special talents that could make you our next Intellistudent Of The Week?
