Andrew "Gingerbread" Elmdanat
Intellistudent of the Week, 4-25-07
Ok, well... I am a very interesting fellow. First of
all, The basic information... I am 18. I graduated
early from high-school and currently attend college in
AZ. Secondly, I hate conformity. I mean, why would
people want to change in order to make themselves what
others think as "cool" or "right"? I mean, where is
the creativity and self-respect in that? I am a
Christian. Wait, before I go on... when I say
christian, I am saying that I follow Jesus Christ, NOT
the church. I disagree with most christians actions
and/or words. This is mostly due to the fact that most
christians have no idea what Jesus actually taught.
Anyway, I love debating and deep conversations. One of
my favorite things to do when I am bored, is just to
go and search for quotes of any sort and think about
them. I have expanded my mind so much just by looking
at what brilliant people had to say in a short
sentence.
I love sports! I played football all throughout
high-school and love backyard football. Also, I
wreslted and ran track. I got really big into track
and I could have taken it to the next level but I was
sacrificing too much for my liking. What is the point
at being great at something if you have to give up
other stuff that you were already great at? I was
cutting into my work, church, and school. Gah! Anyway,
I work for a christian school running an afterschool
program for 4th grade -9th grade. I wouldn't trade
anything for this job. I build relationships and get
to be a big brother to 30 some kids and teens. I love
it.
Ok, so a little about my personality... I am very
spontaneous and I love throwing people off. I believe
in peace no matter what and so I try to be very slow
to anger and quick to love. I trust everybody until
given a reason not to.
Ok, so my history... I have had two step-fathers that
have both died. I haven't seen my mom in 6 years. I
don't want to see my brother although he comes around
sometimes. I live with my darling sister and my father
and mother(step-mother). I have had a very rough past
and I don't want to get into it. BUT For those of you
who believe in karma... lets just say that I have a
heck of a lot of positive karma coming my way and
maybe it is part of the reason why I have such a great
life right now.
Thanks for taking the time to read about me and my
life. :) STAY COOL!
