Amber Briggs
Intellistudent of the Week, 1-10-07

My name is Amber Briggs. I am 18 years old and currently a freshman at Point Loma Nazarene University. I am majoring in Communication with a minor in music, I am a member of the debate team, and a member of choir. I grew up in San Diego county in California with my parents, two sisters, Ashley and Megan, and my brother, Michael. I have always loved music and public speaking, both of which influenced my decisions in college and my major. As of last April, I am the reigning Miss Fallbrook, (Fallbrook being my hometown) and am considering running for Miss California. As Miss Fallbrook, I travel to different events and represent my town. Plus, I get to wear a cool crown! I have a wonderful boyfriend, Lane, who also attends PLNU. He is a great support through everything I do. After graduation I hope to pursue a career in public speaking and travel the world.
