Ruthie Baumann
Intellistudent of the Week, 8-20-07

My name is Ruthie Baumann and I am a 22 year old Elementary Education Major. When I finish my education degree and I looking at going towards a Masters in Special Education. To better my skills during the day I work in a local elementary school as a Para-Educator in a Special Education classroom. These kids are fabulous to me and I can't think of any better way to spend my time. I love them all.

In my free time I love to draw, sing, dance and learn to play my electric guitar and piano. Music is a huge part of my life and though I do not have a whole lot of experience it is a great passion of mine. However, my passions extend far beyond the fine arts. I have a deep connection with all the people that are close to me and my pets. They all mean the world to me. Growing up, I immersed myself in all of these things and that is what shaped me to be the person that I am today. .
